CLUB REPORTSClub weekend at Knoydart Bothy, April 2008 Twenty five members and friends The Corbett-baggers,
and those who are "just
doing the odd one here and there", all managed the three in the vicinity
and got terrific views for their efforts. All three Munros were conquered
by some of the group, some members putting in 12 hour days. Those managing
to return to the bunkhouse more promptly got spruced up to walk the kilometre
to the Old Forge Inn to sample the great food and expensive drink. There
was a wood burning stove and comfy seats in the common room and a large dining
table worthy of sitting around to consume food and alcohol and recount tall

made the journey by land
and sea to spend the weekend at Knoydart Bothy at Inverie.
Inverie
was made very special by its remoteness. We were very lucky with
our weather, not least for the sails there and back. Hopefully another weekend
will be arranged before too long.
